Net mortgage lending to individuals decreased from £2.0 billion to £0.7 billion in February, which if you exclude to Covid era, represents the lowest level of net borrowing since April 2016. That's a sign that tighter financial conditions are weighing on lending activity and will be something to watch for on the part of the BOE moving forward.
