AFAIK the White House has not made a statement on the proposed Biden-Putin summit
OK, here we go .... WH statement now on the proposed summit:
- Biden accepted in principle a meeting with Putin, if an invasion of Ukraine has not happened
- also prepared to inpose swift and severe consequences if Russia invades
- Russia appears to continue preparations for a full-scale assault on Ukraine very soon
