Xi told Biden with regard to Taiwan, that China firmly opposes Taiwan independence

Comment from the Xi/Biden talks from China perspective.

ON Taiwan:

• China fiercely opposes Taiwan independence and the interference of external forces
• Those who play with fire get burnt
• US should abide by One China principle, and act in line with its words

Meanwhile from the US perspective, Biden told Xi:

• The US stance on One China policy remains unchanged (according to China's Global Times)

Not exactly warm fuzzy feelings between the two global powers.
