The kiwi still looks poised to retest the year's highs against the dollar

The NZD may be outshone by the AUD today - it's been a while - but against the dollar it continues to head towards a retest of the year's highs near 0.7438.

The break of the March highs opened up the way for a move higher and the climb so far has been a steady one.

As mentioned earlier in the day, there isn't much on the agenda to act as a catalyst for price action for the remainder of the week - so it'll be mostly about the flows. But do look out for Fed speakers later in the day too, though the ones speaking are non-voting members.

The dollar remains relatively weak on the day as we still await whether or not there will be missiles fired at Syria - the main geopolitical risk for the moment. The greenback only sits in front of the yen in terms of performance today:
