Oil breaks out and makes a run for $70

WTI crude oil rises to the highest since 2014

Oil caught a sudden bid today (ahead of the weekend) and is now flirting with $70. At $69.88 currently, it's already at the highest since 2014.

That looks an awful lot like a breakout.

The move in oil is dragging down USD/CAD as well.
