WTI crude nears the January and February highs

Oil has quietly marched to the best levels since February and is less than $1 away from the best levels of the year. Brent, meanwhile, is near the highest levels since mid-2015.

Crude is benefitting from better signals on global growth and signs of support for an output extension from Russia and Saudi Arabia. OPEC Secretary General Barkindo said signs of support from both clarified positions ahead of the Nov 30 summit.

Technically, there isn't much standing between WTI and the February high of $54.94.
