New lows for the broader indices
As the stock market enters the last 1/2 hour of the day, the broader S&P and Nasdaq indices have moved to new session lows and are now down on the day.
- The S&P index is trading down marginally at 3283. The low reached 3280.69
- The NASDAQ index is down -8.1 points or -0.09% and 9243. The low just extended to 9231.137
- The Dow remains higher by 53.7 points or 0.19% at 28994. The low for the day reached 28897.35.
The S&P index at the high was up 0.47%. The NASDAQ index was up 0.51% and the Dow industrial average was up 0.65%
