Major indices still close well off the lows

The major indices are closing the session mixed. That is what prevailed from the start as well.

  • The S&P is ending up 15.25 points or 0.56% at 2738.31. The low reached 2717.94
  • The Nasdaq is ending lower by -28.14 or -0.38% at 7328.85. The low was down at 7255.
  • The Dow ends up 190.87 points or 0.76% at 25461.70. The low reached 25261.47

The FAANGS mostly lagged although Netflix did end higher on the day:
