Stocks open with solid gains (as expected)
Boosted by US/China deal
The US stocks are opening with solid gains after President Trump said he would delay an increase in tariffs on Chinese goods. The snapshot of the major indices a few minutes after the opening are showing:
- S&P, +15.66 points or 0.56% at 2807.72
- Nasdaq, up 56 points or 0.75% at 7584.60
- Dow, up 167 points or 0.65% at 26198.
