Nasdaq was the weakest for the week. Nasdaq and Russell lead the move higher today
The Nasdaq composite index and the Russell 2000 led the US equity markets in trading today. As for the other global stock markets, the picture was mixed.
For the week, the biggest % loser was the Nasdaq - falling by -2.69%. The S&P fell by -2.24% in the week. The Dow fell by -2.29%. In Europe, the UK FTSE fell by -2.39%. THe Spanish IBEX was the best performer as it eked out a small 0.07% gain.
The Asian-Pacific region, the Shanghai composite led with a gain of 2.04% for the week.
