Due from China today ... timing is a little 'flexible' but should be around 0200GMT
- For March
We'll be getting the 'CNY terms' data first:
- Trade Balance expected 203.65b, prior 209.50b
- Exports expected +14.9% y/y and prior -20.6% (we've had 8 consecutive months of falls, that streak is expected be broken today. The data is y/y ... March 2015 was a low base so the uptick expected today may be more about that than any big increase in global demand in March)
- Imports expected at -4.8% y/y, prior -8.0%
For the 'USD terms':
- Trade Balance $34.95bn surplus
- Exports +10.0% y/y after a prior of -25.4%
- and Imports -10.1% y/y, prior -13.8%
