Prelim durable goods orders data for October

• Prior was +2.0% (revised to +2.2%)
• Ex transportation +0.4% vs +0.5% expected
• Prior ex-transportation +0.7% (revised to +1.1%)
• Capital goods orders nondefense ex air -0.5% vs +0.5% expected
• Prior capital goods orders nondefense ex air +1.7% (revised to +2.1%)
• Capital goods shipments nondefense ex air +0.4% vs +0.3% expected
• Prior cap goods shipments nondefense ex air +0.9% (revised to +1.2%)

These are some weak numbers. The revisions hardly dampen a big miss in durable goods orders but in core orders, the +0.4 revision helps to balance out a 1.0 miss but it's still the worst revision in a year.
