Analyst at Standard and Poor's says BOC may be done

S&P analyst Robert Palombi says the Bank of Canada is unlikely to cut again, in an interview with MNI.

The oil price slump "subdues growth prospects" for Canada and spells bad news" for tje government's revenues, but managing Director Robert Palombi old MNI the Bank of Canada is nonetheless unlikely to further cut its policy rates.

If the BOC was going to cut the ratings agencies would be the last to know. They didn't said the government's fiscal position isn't a problem (Canada still plans to balance its budget this year).
