EUR/USD has dipped quickly back below 1.3100 after reaching 1.3116 on comments from Canada’s finance minister.
Also on the wires, German FinMin Schaeuble says Germany is working with euro area nations on a comprehensive, mid-term solution. No agreement is expected at the EcoFin meeting early next week in Brussels, he says, but a deal may be possible at the upcoming EU summit in early February.
