US DATA: Feb IBD/TIPP Economic Optimism Index -1.0 pt, or -1.9%, to
50.9. The index is 3.9 points above its 12-month average of 47.0 and 6.5
points above its reading of 44.4 in December 2007 when the economy
entered into the recession, and 0.2 points above its all-time average of
50.7, thus still showing confidence. All components fell, led by -1.8
pts in the 6m econ outlook. Nine of 21 demographic groups fell.
