LONDON (MNI) – The Bank of England announced plans Tuesday to issue
a 3-year US dollar bond in coming weeks to finance its foreign exchange
reserves.

The benchmark dollar bond will be the sixth such from the BOE
as part of its annual issuance programme. The central bank also
announced the joint leads for the bond.

BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs International, HSBC and Morgan
Stanley will be the joint lead managers.
