The US livestock and poultry associations have petitioned the Environmental Protection Agency to waive the mandate that 10% of each gallon of gasoline sold in the US be mixed with ethanol.

Ethanol is one of those eco-weenie, feel-good policy prescriptions which spawned massive unintended consequences and should be scrapped.
