The FT has an interesting take on the US jobs number, showing that many part-time workers are in the 30-35 hour range.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics defines part-time as anything less than 35 hours per week. Dales points to OECD data, which takes less than 30 hours per week to be part-time. Put the two data sets together and the US part-timer situation does look so bad.
