Seems like the 1.2420/25 resistance is providing some solid resistance for the cross now as the pair slips back some 70 pips on the day from early Asian highs (1.2421).
AUD/USD’s sitting just off session highs of 1.0486 around 1.0478 with importer and defensive offers ahead of the 1.0500 barrier, so far being unchallenged, but traders also reporting today’s volumes are light.
(Still personally fancy a push higher with a test of the earlier mentioned trend channel resistance towards 1.0550 and a re-run at the mid Sept highs of 1.0625)
