There were 8 “Did not votes” (3 Dems, 5 R).
Call me a pessimist (or anything else you like :-)), but I don’t see how, on the basis of this vote, a ‘debate’ is going to be avoided on the debt ceiling over the coming weeks … Looks like another big fight in the works.
