The comments are coming from Brad Sherman after house democrats had a meeting with El Presidente. He said the president took a minute to stand up for Summers and was “very adamant in his defence”.
Now I don’t know how it works in the states but over here such actions would be classed as “tipping one’s hat” to a selection of choice, i.e letting the cat out of the bag.
