USD/JPY is down on reports that Obama has rejected Republican proposal.
I’ve seen Twitter reports of the rejection but on the wires not so yet.

Other sources saying he hasn’t rejected it, but is considering it – Paul Ryan reported as saying Obama said neither yes nor no – i.e. Obama is considering it. Ryan also saying negotiations will continue this evening.
