The US have responded to comments from Israeli defence minister Moshe Yaalon, who is reported to have said that US secretary of state John Kerry, is “Messianic and Obsesive”
“Secretary of state John Kerry – who came here very determined, and operates based upon an unfathomable obsession and a messianic feeling – cannot teach me anything about the Palestinians. All that can ‘save us’ is for John Kerry to win a Nobel Prize and leave us in peace,”” Yaalon was quoted as saying
The US state department has issued a statement saying that if accurate the comments are offensive and inappropriate.
John Kerry has been heavily involved in peace talks in the region and by the looks of things has managed to piss off at least one person.
