Cyprus central bank Governor Panicos Demetriades resigned earlier today and his replacement has been found. It’s Chrystalla Georghadji, who will be named tomorrow, according to Bloomberg.
I have one quality I look for in a G10 central banker or official — an easy name to spell. Georghadji now joins Dijsselbloem and Kocherlakota on my worst names list.
