The market might get some jitters here on fears of escalation.
Update: Russia says it will respond to ‘each hostile step’ from the US.
Update 2: Russian sanctions list includes John McCain, Harry Reid (although they spelled his name wrong), John Boehner and Benjamin Rhodes. The list includes 9 officials, all are barred from entering Russia.
Update 3: Russia says it’s introducing mutuality-based sanctions. It means that every US sanction will be met by an equal/opposite Russia response automatically.
Update 4: Other officials on the list are Caroline Atkinson, Daniel Pfeiffer, Robert Menendez, Mary Landrieu and Daniel Coats.
