Philly Fed President Charles Plosser is straddling the line between hawk and punchline with his latest comments on interest rates. He told CNBC he forecasts interest rates hitting 3.00% next year and 4.00% in 2016.
It’s no surprise that Plosser is the outlier on the Fed’s dot chart.
It’s one thing to argue for rate hikes but predicting something that’s not going to happen is goofy.
