In a separate headline on Reuters Chancellor Merkel’s govt spokesman says they expect the May 25 presidential election in Urkaine to go ahead, and hopes it can help settle the current situation
We are doing what we can for this election to take place as planned and for it to have a calming effect on the whole situation in Ukraine
