Not a bad report all told but the market may have been disappointed by the wage figures which haven’t grown and still suggests that UK prices remain soft. That could be an issue of concern raised at the inflation report later.

The fall in the unemployment rate has virtually been ignored even as it hit the lowest since the 3 months to Feb. Jobless fell by 133k to 2.209m in the 3 months to March.
