Earlier I reported that Pfizer had made made an increased and final offer of £55 per share but suggested this was still much lower than market valuations.
Unsurprisingly then Astrazeneca have once again turned it down with chairman Leif Johansson saying
We have rejected Pfizer’s final proposal because it is inadequate
