As we know it is a crapshoot, but a fun crapshoot.
USD/JPY is looking for support along the 2014 support line and 55 & 100 dma’s and the break above the 102.69 level was fleeting, so that may offer resistance again. Outside of that, any big moves might find the 200 dma at 101.40 a tough nut to crack on a sour number as will 103 on a good print. The key number below is still 100.75.

Unless we get something super awesome or super pants I really can’t see us breaking the range. Even the good number last time failed to ignite the pair so we need to be wary of chasing any upside.
For the record I’ve checked my tea leaves this morning and I know 100%, without a shadow of a doubt, that the number will be 197k
