Data wise we’re thin today with only the German IFO and UK mortgage approvals of any real note but the main risk event comes at 09.30 when BOE gov Carney appears before the parliamentary Treasury Select Committee alongside a few of his colleagues.
He will be asked to clarify his recent comments on interest rate hikes this year along with a general grilling on inflation/unemployment et al. We’ll post a fuller preview in due course.
