The US State Dept says new incursions overnight in Eastern Ukraine indicate a “Russian directed counteroffensive is likely underway” in Donetsk and Luhansk, according to RTRS.
Ukraine long signaled it was launching an offensive that would last until Parliament dissolved. Yesterday Parliament was shut down so it’s no surprise that Russia and the separatists are hitting back now.
