The euro needs anything it can grab to halt the falls at the moment and USD/JPY slipping back under 107 is giving it the perfect reason.
1.2950/60 is still the level to beat in the short term ahead of mild resistance at 1.2980.

USD/JPY has taken quite a knock from the highs to test support at 106.80/85. Support is fairly strong all around the 106.70/85 area so it will need a strong break here to see the price push much lower. The strongest support will come in around 106.00
