The BOJ will be raising FY2014 wages for regular employees by 0.2%. The will also be raising overall annual pay and bonuses by 1.5%. In a typical ‘give with the right hand and take with the left’ manoeuvre they will be cutting the retirement allowance by 12%.
While the US, UK, and Europe and waiting for wages to rise, Japan continues to forces the issue to help their inflation push.
