Yogi Berra, Hall of Fame Major League Baseball player, made famous the saying “It ain’t over, till it’s over” (not to confused with “It’s not over until the fat lady sings”. I don’t know who that saying is attributed). Although it is redundant, the words can apply to trends in the forex market. Trends to me, are not over till they are indeed over.

When are trends over?

The Answer: “When the price action and tools applied to the price action tells us”.

In trading last week, the price action could not reverse above key resistance and the trend down resumed after an 11 day sideways market. This week, I will be looking for that trend lower to continue – unless of course the trend shows signs that “it is indeed over” (or ready for a correction).

The video outlines what exactly I will be looking for to show the trend remains your friend and also that it ain’t over.
