AMENDED ;

UPDATED! The BOJ announcement is now expected later than earlier thought

(Due to Bank of Japan (BOJ) Governor Kuroda being called before parliament – the board meeting will adjourn for about an hour and a half … so the announcement should come later)

——

The BOJ conclude their two-day August meeting today and will announce the results.

I did a preview of the meeting, here: Preview – Bank of Japan policy meeting announcement due Tuesday

There is no scheduled time for a BOJ announcement after their policy board meeting, announcements are made when the BOJ meeting finishes. There is, however, a window during which we can expect it, 0230 to 0400GMT has been about right recently. The more there is for discussion and debate at a meeting, the later the announcement will come. There is no change in policy expected at all today, but there is plenty for discussion at the meeting re the slow Japanese economy, the future course of policy and if/when there will be more easing. Check out the preview for more.

I expect a press conference from Bank of Japan (BOJ) Governor Kuroda following (around 0630GMT) … But I don’t actually see it listed anywhere so maybe not.
