Coming up over the weekend of 11 and 12 October (i.e tomorrow and Sunday), there are plenty of speeches from central bankers (and from China’s Premier).

Of course, markets are closed so if you need to react … see you on Monday morning, when liquidity is thinner than Kate Moss on a diet.

This is what I’ve got on the agenda:

  • China’s Premier Li Speaks at Business Conference in Hamburg(‘China Meets Europe’ business forum)
  • Fed’s Tarullo Speaks on International Finance in Washington (at the Institute of international Finance annual conference)
  • BOE Deputy Governor Cunliffe speaks in Washington (at the IMF annual meeting)
  • Fed’s Williams Speaks on Chinese Renminbi in Washington(yes, really!) (at the Institute of international Finance annual conference)
  • ECB’s Draghi holds a press conference in Washington (at the IMF annual meeting)
  • Fed’s Evans Speaks at Markets Conference in Washington (at a Goldman Sachs conference)
  • Fed’s Fischer Speaks on the Global Economy in Washington (at the IMF annual meeting)
  • Bank of England’s Andrew Bailey speaks in Washington (at the IMF annual meeting)
  • Riksbank Governor Ingves participates in panel discussion
  • ECB’s Constancio Speaks in Washington

Once again, these are all scheduled for over the weekend, while markets are closed.
