As a follow up to Adams post…Nasdaq is up 100 point. Yikes.
The last time the Nasdaq rose by over 100 points was on November 30, 2011 when it rose 104.83 points.
The current % gain of 2.25% is the largest % gain since October 10, 2013 when the index rose by 2.25%% (or 82.97 points). Prior to that the you have to go back to January 2, 2013 when the Nasdaq rose by 3.072%.
Nasdaq soars but still below 100 day MA at 4430.
The Index is approaching the 100 day MA at the 4430.35 level. The high today has reached 4418.80. So although, the price is soaring higher, it still needs to get above the 100 day MA
