So says Euro am Sonntag in a survey just published
- 39% of German insurers are raising share holdings, says Euro am Sonntag supported by a separate survey by Allianz Global Investors Europe
- sustained low interest rates may cause closure of some insurers
- Allianz to raise stocks holding “slightly” from an average of 7% across all units
- Generali to raise stocks holding as a % of total investment medium-term to 10% from 6% currently
- Hannover Rueck to raise stock holdings to 5% from 2%
