There were a few rumours around on the weekend that Japan PM Abe was planning a snap election (in the Yomiuri Shimbun, quoting government sources)
Kyodo News later said, though, that Abe was not considering doing so, quoting the PM: “I’m not considering dissolving the [lower house of Parliament] at all.”
