• Says Italy’s economic scenario is not satisfying
  • Expects Q4 contraction to be milder
  • Expects EU commission to recognise efforts to cut deficit and make structural reforms

The problem is that this isn’t a kids school report with “Ok, but must try harder” slapped on it. Countries have been given the rules and should have done the work necessary to meet them. It’s pointless them pointing out what they have done while ignoring what the haven’t done. It matters not anyway as the EU just rolls over without a fuss.

Separately the EU is out saying that they will unveil the new 2015 draft budget for the eurozone in the next few days. That should be fun
