Greek anti-austerity, anti-bailout party Syriza holds a 5-point lead in the latest poll over the Greek prime minister’s Conservative party.
That’s mildly good news for Greece, although the market is kicking and screaming again today. An election is likely for late January or early Feb and that gap is likely to come down as the governing party ramps up fear about getting kicked out of the eurozone or other Syriza-induced calamities.
