Reuters now reporting that CPI excluding food and energy was 0.5% not 0.6%
The core number is ex-everything and Reuters could just be pointing to the ex-food and energy number which is also given.
I’ll get onto Eurostat and see what’s what.

Here’s the Eurostat numbers which confirm the 0.6% for the core (ex-everything), reported as 0.5% originally, and Reuters look like they’ve got their wires crossed.
