Klass Knot said QE needs to end as soon as possible
ECB Governing Council member Klass Knot said there isn't a single reason to continue buying bonds and that the program needs to end "as soon as possible," in an interview with Dutch TV.
However, he conceded that it was better to continue the program until September to preserve credibility. He said that it should end abruptly in September and that was the current sentiment of the Governing Council.
That final detail could help to give the euro some life early in the week.
