More news on the Coincheck incident in Japan

According to NHK, the police are now involved in the matter as they look to investigate Coincheck and the hacking incident that took place last week. It is said that the police will search Coincheck's servers and analyse its data.

Earlier, Japan's Financial Services Agency have requested for Coincheck to submit a report and preventive measures on the incident by 13 February.

Coincheck has since responded that they will "earnestly accept" the terms by the FSA. It is also believed that Coincheck will be fined by the FSA for the incident, although the amount is yet to be determined.
