He was responding to a question from a parliament member in a national policy committee meeting today.

South Korean officials have been loud with this sort of thing on crypto. but there has been a public backlash and some government back down. This dude saying he'd shut exchanges that broke the law - well, yeah that's cool. But I can't see him shutting all of them.

Bitcoin, as you can see from the chart above, is non-fussed on the news.
