North Korea said to be involved in Japanese crypto exchange hack - report

It's awfully convenient to blame North Korea for everything right now.

Hankyoreh is a daily newspaper in South Korea. The story their referencing is the +$400 theft of the NEM cryptocurrency from Japanese exchange Coincheck.

Earlier today Kim Byung-kee, a member of South Korea's parliamentary intelligence committee, also pointed the finger at North Korea.

"North Korea sent emails that could hack into cryptocurrency exchanges and their customers' private information and stole (cryptocurrency) worth billions of won," he said.
