It looks like Liberal MP John Alexander is a dual citizen (Britain) and may be thus forced to resign ... this is not yet confirmed though, K?
- If so a by-election will be held in his seat
- He currently holds it by a near 7% margin

Background to this is it is in contravention of the Australian Constitution to be a member of parliament and a citizen of another country (that's it in a nutshell ... for further nuances of Constitutional Law pls consult your solicitor in the first instance). So far 8 MPs have been forced out.
One of our more deeply stupid politicians here has said he didn't think the Constitution was a strict rule.
