Cambridge Analytica uncovered

Expect to hear a great deal about Cambridge Analytica in the coming days. The UK's Channel 4 News surreptitiously recorded CEO Chrisopher Nix saying they could entrap politicians in compromising situations with bribes and Ukrainian sex workers and that they secretly campaign in elections across the world.

Steve Bannon was a vice president of the company and hedge fund titan Robert Mercer is an investor.

"We'll offer a large amount of money to the candidate, to finance his campaign in exchange for land for instance, we'll have the whole thing recorded, we'll blank out the face of our guy and we post it on the Internet," Nix says.

It seems the tables were turned.

"it's no good fighting an election campaign on the facts," an executive says "because actually it's all about emotion."

The report was just aired, you can watch it here.

It's a whole new world out there, not only in politics but in journalism.

Update: Shortly after it aired, Britain's Information Officer announced she is seeking a warranting to raid Cambridge Analytica and seize servers.
