Draghi speaks at 2 pm ET (1900 GMT)
ECB President Mario Draghi speaks at 2 pm New York time but he is extremely unlikely to say anything that would move markets for two reasons.
#1 - The venue
The speech takes place at the closing of the central bank's Cultural Days festival. He's speaking before a concert where notable performers include Boccerini, Granados and Sarasate. He's probably going to talk about the importance of culture etc.
#2 - The timing
Thursday is the ECB monetary policy decision. It would be highly unusual for any central banker to speak about anything meaningful so close to an announcement.
